The new company will offer artist management, record label services and musician placement for TV and Film.
Los Angeles, CA (June 20, 2019) – Music industry magnate, David S. Hargrett announced today the formation and launch of, Affective Music, a music servicing company. The new effort will offer artist management, musician placement for TV and film and house a record label under the same name – its first project is slated to be the debut release from award-winning vocalist, Mykal Kilgore, produced by Affective Music artist management client, Jamison Ross. Affective Music is described by Hargrett as, “an evolution of” 360 Artist Management, the company he founded in 2014. “Affective Music was conceived as our offerings expanded in the music space” said Hargrett. “Once our offerings became more, I felt it was important to have a company name and mission that better represented the work we are doing.”
The company’s mission is a result of its leader’s philosophy on music – “Music has the power to heal, inspire and connect us. When this happens, it is what we call – affective music.” In addition to a record label, Affective Music will also offer artist management and a specialized service : musician placement for TV & film. This service connects productions with musicians to appear in television, film and live productions. “As someone deeply connected in the industry and being a musician myself, I know a lot of great musicians and am always getting calls from friends needing recommendations, so I decided to formalize the service” said Hargrett. Recent clients include Nick Cannon Presents: Wild ‘n Out and fashion designer Pyer Moss.
The company will celebrate its launch with a concert featuring Jamison and Mykal at City Winery in Atlanta, GA on August 05th at 8:00 pm. Tickets are now available via www.CityWinery.com. For more information visit www.AffectiveMusic.com.
